Another Android port – HP2133 Mini Note
Why are we all so interested in Android on netbooks? Personally, I think it possible that one of the largest Linux distributor with a large ecosystem and a strong brand power and could eventually push through an effective alternative to XP on the low-end netbooks, UMPCs and MIDs. Intel are working on the same with Moblin and probably have more resources, but it does not have a single brand, it has no distro-wide around store does not have the same media attention, and it hasn ‘t get into the hands of Hundreds of thousands, above all, very happy, yet the owner. Here is once again on Android on an x86 platform. It is a VIA-based HP 2133 Mini-Note. We will all ask ourselves “why” again, but I think if Android is so much attention, it will not be long before we say, “When?”
