CV-MP01 comes in as one of the worlds smallest LED video projectors

Sunday 21 December 2008 @ 1:09 pm

projector CV MP01 comes in as one of the worlds smallest LED video projectors With a world that seems bent on making everything either as large or as small as possible, we do not find the coming of the CV-MP01 something special. This seemingly useless device seems to be more for the “I told you I could do it” factor. If we say that this projector is very small, we are not kidding! The Japanese from CV-MP01 measures only 1.6 x 2.25 x 2.3 cm and weighs just 3.17 ounces. The LED backlighting Imager uses LCOS technology to display images with up to 4:3-type ratio (640 x 480) VGA resolution. They also managed to fit in the built-in speaker and a 3.5-mm AV connector as well.

We do not expect to see this handy little projector here in the U.S. now or never. However, there is still no general pricing or even a projected Japanese release date. If you are necessarily a die-hard need a tiny projector, we are sure you can too.

Sunday 21 December 2008 @ 1:06 pm

Shortly after our hands on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, the FCC has information confirming that the touch-screen phone will hit the U.S. complete with 3G. Now from what we can see, there is no AT x26 T logo or branding by another carrier. nokia-5800-us 3g

This leads us to believe that Nokia will bless us with a version released that the course is unsubsidized. We are sure glad to hear that the 5800 XpressMusic will be his debut here, complete with 3G and all. The FCC reports also show a series of internal and external photos along with the manual.

Foxit announces the eSlick reader, can it challenge the Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader

Foxit recently launched its eBook Reader which eSlick. Initially, they seem to have reached a fairly attractive price tag at $ 229, but the reader is lacking when it comes to format compatibility. As for the features that eSlick has a 6-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 600, 128 MB of internal memory and an SD card slot with support for up to 4 GB. The reader is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery that is said to up to 8000 page turns. In addition to measures 7.4 x 4.7 x 0.4 cm, weighing only 6.4 ounces and ships with a 2GB SD card and a set of headphones.

Well, as far as competitors in the market eBook Reader, the price is certainly nice, but as I mentioned earlier, the eSlick not offer a wide range of file compatibility. It only has support for PDF, TXT, and MP3 files. It comes with a conversion tool, but adds that only another step before you enjoy your reading. Not to mention, it does not have a book store of any kind Sony Reader has access to their eBook Store and the Kindle takes it a step further with wireless access built-in.

It is difficult to assess without a hand, but it seems that a beautiful design. I would be interested in some hands on time, but based on the format support, I would think that the version 2 you can wait for. It kind of seems like an expensive PDF viewer, in contrast to an eBook reader.

iBreath iPhone/iPod accessory could potentially save lives

Sunday 21 December 2008 @ 12:47 pm

ibreath lr photo 270x523 iBreath iPhone/iPod accessory could potentially save lives I’m not sure whether there is a huge market for personal breathalyzer tests, but I think the iBreath is definitely on the right track. For starters, it is designed to plug directly into your iPhone or iPod, which serves as a power source for these electronic breathalyzer. All intoxicated needs to do is blow into the pipe-shaped end there, and he or she will receive an automatic readout of his or her blood-alcohol levels, without ever having an officer present.

There is no doubt that the iBreath could save lives and the lives that he could save the driver. But the most important feature is not enough for designer David Steel, which took it a step further to an FM transmitter to them. This allows the driver to get some music from their iPod iPhone from their car radio. Maybe sober is that him or her.

Of course, you have to wonder if a person is too drunk to drive precautionary principle would have enough sense to use the iBreath. Even if it with this device, which would potentially drunk drivers believe the results? “Hey, I can go, I know I can. This thing is Whack, man.”

According to WikiAnswers, 185,000 people are killed by drunk driving each year. I believe that this figure could be inaccurate big, but even if the iBreath could save a fraction of the victims, it would be worthwhile. The iBreath’s $ 80 price tag is a small price to pay for it.

Sunday 21 December 2008 @ 12:46 pm

truvolume SRS TruVolume featured in VIZIO 55″ XVT HDTV and HD Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer SRS Labs is no stranger to the world of surround sound, audio and voice technologies, and this time they have their function SRS TruVolume in Vizio’s new high-end 55 “HDTV XVT, and the spanking new HD sound bar Wireless subwoofer. But what is SRS TruVolume all about, anyway? For the layman, it is an advanced, intelligent volume control solution, “a remarkable TV-viewing experience by eliminating irritating fluctuations in the volume all too common in today’s TV Broadcasts. “I know what they mean – as a rule, which shows that we have seen are usually rather soft, where audio is concerned, but come commercials, your speakers are blasting. It is irritating, which is safe and there is nice to see SRS Labs something about the situation for our improvement.SRS TruVolume does not work like other automatic gain control solutions, as it takes a whole new approach to measuring, analyze and control the volume through the use of principles determined by SRS “comprehensive study on the psycho-acoustics. TruVolume SRS will be on 20 bands, that there is a close representation of the human hearing mechanism, and it will continually monitor and adjust the audio signal for a more consistent band, no matter what kind of fluctuations in the framework of an audio source. Everything you need to do is the volume to your preferred level once and you’re good to go. The remote control’s volume knob buttons are used less often since then, although I wonder what happens when you see just a horror movie, where everything is quiet, only for the protagonists to yell after the discovery of a dead body. Will SRS TruVolume reduce the impact of higher scream?

The Vizio 55 “LCD HDTV XVT and the HD-sound bar with a wireless subwoofer will be next January, retail 1999.99 U.S. dollars and 349.99 U.S. dollars, respectively.
